THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR SUMNER & BONNEY LAKE COMMUNITY!
Our local community has faced historical wildfires in the last couple of weeks. This is something we never could have anticipated for the Sumner/Bonney Lake area and its destruction has been devastating.
We know there are at least two homes that were destroyed and while insurance should help with much of their loss, we know there are more needs. We are running this BETTER TOGETHER PAR-TEE to raise funds for those families and will get the proceeds to them directly. 100% of proceeds will be donated. We will split the proceeds equally among the two families however when placing your order, you may make a note at checkout if you would like them to go to a specific family (of the two). IF for some reason donations aren't accepted by a family or there is some other unforeseen reason the funds can't be given to them, we will donate them to our local Fire Stations/Fire Union.
If you're new here or don't know our owner Jenn Britt and are unsure of this fundraiser, here are her words on why doing this spoke to her heart.
“My husband and I are both from this area, myself raised in Sumner and Charlie in Bonney Lake. We both attended and graduated from Sumner Senior High School and have many memories of growing up in our little town. (I say town singular because if you are from around here, you know Sumner & BL were once more like one - same zip code, same high school etc. - and it will always be that way to us.)
From sports to jobs, friendships and eventually meeting each other, and still living here today, Sumner has a large piece of our hearts. Seeing the destruction the Sumner Grade Fire has caused to our land, our friends & family’s business’, and the homes of our neighbors has been incredibly hard. We have a platform (although it be small!) and if there is anything we can do to help, there is no question that we will.
We have been blessed by this community in our lives & business and now it is our turn to give back to the community that raised us."
